Turning the Master Key of the Windy City, January 2013

Turning the Master Key of the Windy City, January 2013

'Turning the Master Key of the Windy City' intertwines stained glass on each shutter panel to show off Chicago's windy city skyline. Each panel slants to push open a vibrant door, representing the different pathways, energy, and excitement the city holds for those who explore it.

The piece was made and donated for the Junior Council’s 25th Annual Snowball Gala. 1,700 young professionals filled the Great Hall at Historic Union Station on February 2nd, 2013. The Junior Council donated $150,000 to the AIDS & HIV Clinic and Research programs at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago from the event!

[Stained glass on wood shutter, 27in. x 15in.]
